2024 All-WWPA Second Team selection Chase Hammes put up a performance to remember for Fresno Pacific in the Sunbirds’ conference opener, a 9-8 win at UC Merced. Trailing at the break, the junior netminder shutout the Bobcats in the second half on his way to registering a season-high 17 saves. He posted a .680 save percentage in the process and added a steal for good measure. Hammes ranks fourth in the WWPA in saves (130) and third in save percentage (.415).
