Kai Young, Concordia

Concordia’s Kai Young got the Golden Eagles back on track in conference play as the senior center delivered nine points on seven goals and two assists across CUI’s two West Region wins over UC Merced and Fresno Pacific. He added a team-high five exclusions, two field blocks and a steal while shooting .700 (7-for-10). The Aussie was 2-for-2 against UC Merced before filling up the stat sheet with five goals, two assists, two field blocks and three drawn exclusions against FPU. Young’s performance pulled CUI into second place in the West with a 2-1 record.
